ansible software package provides Configuration management, deployment, and task execution system, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ansible
ansible is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ansible package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ansible *
You will get with ansible package name, version, architecture and description in a table
